Who is Mea Warburton?

Mea is a highly trained professional with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Costume with Performance Design, specialising in Costume Supervision, from Arts University Bournemouth. She completed her training from 2013-2016 and has since worked in various areas of costume.

Her career highlights include spending most of her professional life with Cirque du Soleil as a wardrobe assistant, where she worked with many costumes and eventually transitioned to the shoes and accessories department of the Cirque show 'Amaluna'. In addition, she also became the backup clown, a testament to her versatility and adaptability.

After finishing the tour with Cirque du Soleil, Mea ventured into working with several well-known theatre, opera, TV, and Circus companies, including the BBC, Cirque Bijou, and The Grange Festival. She shared her vast knowledge and experiences with the students of Arts University Bournemouth, where she worked with all areas of the costume course and supported the students with all their projects.

Currently, Mea works as a Freelance Costume Designer/Supervisor. Her extensive experience and expertise in the field make her an asset to any project she works on.
